Spinazzola

Spinazzola has a population of 7.362 inhabitants (Spinazzolesi) and a surface of 182,68 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 40,3 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 435 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Spinazzola had a popolation of 7.817 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 7.362 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of -6% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 2.707 families with an average of 2,72 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 224 and 686 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 462 metres.

Work and workers:There are 62 industrial firms employing 314 people that are the 12,66% of the total of the workers. There are 230 service firms employing 350 people that are the 14,11% of the total of the workers. There are also 207 firms employing 645 people that are the 26,00% of the total of the workers. There are also 54 administrative offices emplying 1.172 workers that are the 47,24% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 2.481 workers, that are the 33,70% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
